Fished Taylorsville Saturday........

The lake looks pretty good , its a couple feet above winter pool, and fish are eating. I thought it might of been the 4th of july with all the pleasure boats and jet ski's. We got into alot of hybrids , doesnt really interest me but I know some people enjoy them . We did catch quite a few largemouths seems like this weather has got'em ready to go. Does anyone know if there was a tournament going on?? See ya on the water ........ Jarrod

Fisheater & myself fished Taylorsville Sun. He caught one 13" Largemouth. I caught a 25 1/2 lbs. drum. The fight was fun on 10 lb. test line & a #5 (which is destroyed). But it had to be the UGLIEST thing I ever seen in the boat (besides Fisheater, that is).

had a tourney on taylorsville Sun total of 18 people in it. Several of us pre fished the lake on Sat. total keeper fish 0 nota two DAYS ZIP, NOTHING TOUGH LAKE. Short fish caught on main points texas worms best, nothing on crank or spinners.

I fished Sunday also water temps in the mid to high 50s. Caught plenty fish they are eating. Lots of company Jet Skis, Skiers, Wake Boarders, and Power Boats when I came in they were parking on the top of the hill. Like Jarrod said 4th of July came early.
