Hi. When using gulp, how do you guys keep it from drying up when its on a rod that your not using at the moment? i noticed last year that after fishing with the gulp, i would put the rod down and pick up another rod then maybe an hour or so later, when picking up the gulp rod the gulp is almost dried out. Thanks for any info!

Is the Gulp really all that great? I've used it a few times and decided I didn't want to fool with it for the very same reason you are posting on here.....I go with the Powerbait instead of Gulp, but wonder if I might be making a mistake?
when i was at bass pro a few weeks ago the berkley rep was giving a seminar, did i understand him right?i thought i heard him say they are quitting all the gulp and special scent and going back to just plain ol berkley power bait.does anyone know?plus they were going back to the original mold of craw and worms.
I hope you are correct!!!!!!! The original power bait rocks!!!!!! Why they ever did away with it I don't know. The gulp crap is a pain in the butt to use. You will see Berkley EXPLODE back on the scene if they go back to the "original" scent. I may end up doing away with everything I have and go back to Berkley if that is the case.
Ask anybody that used Berkley 10 or so years ago before they started experimenting? They will tell you that stuff is better then what they got now!
I don't use gulp because it STINKS. well that and its more expensive than it should be.
i think that is what he was getting at,the new stuff has problems and it is really no better..i liked the old powerbait the original worms and craws were all i used when i started fishing.along with a culprit favorite or two.
