    Excellent.

I have not put my tracker in down there in years. When the dam was "broken" I would take my canoe, and could fish all the way to rainbow run, the paddle back upstream. TOUGH PADDLE back up, but well worth it.

It was a good workout, and we'd catch limits of bows and sometimes walleye.

Glad you had a good one.

Paddle from Rainbow run to Wolf Creek dam, and aganst the current. You must be one hell of a man, or caugtht late in the day and paddle for your life. Quite a few miles from Wolf Creek Dam and Rainbow Run, but you should know. Guess, I could go to Google Earth an check the distance, but for what purpose?

When the dam was BROKEN.........they would rarely run and when they did it was usually only the sluice gates.. That is hardly any current. Paddling 12 miles UPSTREAM is nothing when there is no current.

About 3-4 hours to float, and 4-5 hours to paddle back up. It is not a big deal.

This is the area I thought was rainbow run..........Maybe I'm wrong, but the bottom of this is where we'd generally turn around, BITCH a little and start paddling back.
