    T'ville winter pool?

Does anyone know why the COE doesn't drop Taylorsville like they do the rest of the lakes in the winter? Just wondering because I've seen that lake with some extremely high water in the spring, which could be taken care of (or minimized) by lowering the lake in anticipation of spring rains? Just curious..

    Yeeaaahhhh!!!!

Dizzle, i don't know, but i have a primitive camp on the salt river, during the summer months the water is always mud ,however in the winter the salt river in that area (up river from floyd fork ) runs gin clear, i always wondered if t-ville water discharge during the summer months keeps that portion of the salt mud, and with less discharge in the winter months lets the salt clear up... man i hope you don't mind me hopping on your question if so i apologize, maybe both questions can be answered.

Don't know the answer to that question either. But I think in my mind, that if the lake were to be dropped say every other year. Then let it refill, the fishing just might get better...Seems that that lake is just plain stagnant at times and I don't really care to put my boat in it and fish......
