Question Day on the Lake-What do you think?

Day on the Lake is just coming on ESPN. Of course they have the angler on another great lake, not "the great lakes" just a really good lake, Lake Fork.

I'd love to see them do this show from some of the smaller less known lakes around the country. Why not lakes like Laurel, Nolin, Barren, etc... or some of the smaller ones in other states?

I think it would be much more helpful to many of us.

    What do you all think?

    Danny

I have friends who have been fishing Lake Fork for years. They have a hard time believing this guy found one of the least known hottest spots on the lake from looking at a map. I was there fishing the Glade last week-end and we were never more than 15' from another boat. I will never complain about over crowding on KY lakes again. At Amistad we were on a point in San Pedro Flats with 22 other boats. You got in line and fished like a freight train around the point. And the wind does blow in Texas. 30 mph wind doesn't keep anyone off the lakes there. Lots of fish there tho, my biggest for the week was 7.5# with tons of 2 & 3's with a few 5's.

Another example of ESPN's sensationalizing for the TV. I've gotten to where I don't watch any of their fishin shows any more. Guess its ok if you like watchin the pros.

I don't believe that a pro fishing on any body of water does it by himself. Somewhere, somehow info comes to them. Especially on a show like this. It's entertainment and thats all it is.

I would like to see them do this on a lake they don't normally fish. This originally started out as a BASSMASTER magazine feature a few years ago. They didn't take them to any big name lakes, but they would go to smaller, less-known bodies of water. To top it off, they would tell the angler where they were going to be fishing in advance. I remember at least once in the magazine a big name pro blanked.
