Fished the hill saturday 02/31/07 out of the ramp at the bridge. It was nice for a little while, but the wind got up and never quit blowing hard all day and you just couldn't get out of it in any of the hollows. Water temps got up from 64 to 68 by the time we left. We saw several fish on the bed or getting ready to go on the lower in. We caught several fish with only three good keepers and they were kys. Fish were holding tight right in the middle and to the bank of laydowns. We threw spinner baits a long time, which I figured with the wind and the ripple on the water would be the bait of choice, but they never looked twice at it. Also pitched a jig, jerkbait, and cranks. Mag II worms and lizards would get you bit as long as there was wood around, find the trees and the fish were usually there. Oh yea, the BIG boats, wake boarders, and the crazies are already out in full force. It looked like a stock car race in the back of Indian creek with all the ski boats circling around, with the music bending the leaves on the trees and tearing up the water. I was coming back to the ramp from the lower end right before we left and between the wind and the waves from the wave makers we came plum out of the water several times. . So I trimed her down alittle and cut back on the throttle and made it back alittle slower and a few minutes later than normal. If you go out especially on the weekend be safe and know your limits with your boat and driving skills, because some of those guys out there don't seem too...283
