after fronts like this i do well on the bluff wall in 30 ft of water in brush piles there is a nice lil spot right across from the ramp and also by the pump station done well there the fish are not that big but fun to catch. also some nice blue gill in that some location.
We had a lot of rain last night, creeks are rolling heavy, this will bring the lake up fast and put alot of color in the water. Last sunday the lake level was around 4 feet below summer pool still. If your looking for live bait in the Holmes Bend area, stop in at the Holmes Bend General store, they have the better minows on the lake. If your coming through Campbellsville, I have the same minows and all your tackle needs.
Thanks

Forgot to mention that the crappie have been hitting jigs well also, most reports from fisherman that I have heard are they are still in the deeper water not to shallow yet. Most have reported catching them from 7 to 15 feet deep, don't know what the rain will do to them. Heard they have also started catching some white bass in the casey creek area above holmes bend.
Good luck this weekend,
