Ok not fishing but I need to get this out ASAP.. so here goes..
BEWARE of calls purporting to be "Card Services" offering to cut your credit card rate to 6.9%
The calls start out automated but never identify where they are coming from and the call is blocked on Caller ID.
I suspect this is a well organized effort to get credit card numbers.
DO NOT be fooled by the Automated manner and the "Card Services" offer.
My call got cut off for some reason.
DO NOT give them your credit card number.
They should have it available by using your name and another identifier and be able to read it back to you.
