WOW That was a great post man. I really enjoyed reading it. I have kids that i have taught the outdoors stuff to and enjoyed every minute of it but your story makes me realize how much i miss my dad and fishing with him. He taught me the old style of fishing for watever bites. Then I got to teach him how to bass fish and that was so awesome. Then about 5 years before he passed he had a bad stroke that got his vocal cords and right hand. We get on them big hybrids on Herrington and with his half paralyzed hand he still fought them boys and loved it. Dang I miss those days. And yes there is tears in my eyes as I type this. Point being though your children will have the same thoughts I do. Remembering dad everytime they pick up a fishing rod. Best memories I have. I am goin to pray for you and your family and I think God is goin to let you keep on teaching them children. Happy 50th and have 50 more. May God Bless you and your family. Thanks for the heart warming story.

Happy Birthday friend and I hope you live another fifty years you deserve it. Fantastic post, really hit home for sure.
Happy Birthday. Thanks for sharing your story. It's really inspiring to see someone with plenty of excuses to complain, who choses instead to maintain an attitude of gratitude.
