I'm with you, brother! Most of us on this board are in the Catch & Release camp. Most people, however, catch fish to eat them. It pains me to think about but it's true.

I just had a conversation with a dear friend who was telling me about a fishing trip he took to Canada several years ago. He said the fishing wasn't all that great. He said the guys he was up there with were talking about how great the fishing use to be and how they brought back huge coolers of fish. I said to him, "Maybe that's why your trip wasn't that great." He just looked at me with a bank stare...

Fishrgurl, don't tell people what kind of batter you fry your bass in to make them taste a good as a crappie... I just can't make sense of that.
