Wink A little Help with Cumberland

    Hello folks:
Wow was the last two days great or what! I told you about the new hummingbird well the sun combined with the electronics have given me the fever, so we were thinking of heading over to Kendall campground on the river and I thought about going up on the lake for the first time. Yes I know it may sound stupid but in 25 years of fishing below the dam at least four times a year I have never fished the lake. I have tackle for just about any thing with the exception of down rigging and planner boards. We fish out of a pontoon boat so high speed stuff is out but it is rigged for fishing so any hints ideas ramps near the dam that I would not have to walk 10 miles to get the trailer. basicly anything would help.

Take a kid fishing, sooner or later your going to need him to drive you to the lake.

Dennis you can put in at Halcombs Landing at the dam right now and not have to walk to far, just be out of the parking lot by 3:00 pm Monday through Friday as you could be towed at your expense, this is when they blast. Weekends are fine just watch where you park as some mental giants will block you in down there at times.
