    Favorite Jig For Rocky Banks

What is everyone's favorite jig for rocky banks { football head or arkie head } or any other that you know of, I like throwing a jig but i get hung up a lot on these rocky banks. I seem to have better luck with football jigs. what is everyone's thoughts.

I'm with you on the football jigs....Somedays i don't get hung up at all and then there are those days while using the same tackle and fishing the same bank i get hung up to much...must be a karma thing.

Hoot n ninny heads are my favorite. They do a better job of not getting hung up than any jig I've ever used.

My favorite bait is the Salty crawlin grub in Watermelon seed that they sell at Walmart. I have one pole strictly for using the SCG with hoot n ninny heads that I throw onto every rocky bank or rock pile that I see.

My favorite Jig for rocks has to be a football style: "Jim Moynagh Rock Jig" All Terrain Tackle. It is made for this style of fishing, much less hang-ups. Also, the tread design on the bottom of the head gives you a lot more feel, and helps it flip up for action. As a side note; this jig has been out way before Ken Cook fanticy jig decided to steel the idea.

For fishing jig heads with finesse worms, creatures etc. in rocks, I use the "Mighty Jig head" also for the same company. I fished the heaviest chunk rock there is at Lake Barkley, and only lost one jig head all day fishing! I know you don't believe that, but it's the truth! If you ever fish it you'll see for yourself.

    Just my 2 cents!
