Laurel Lake

Whats the latest on Laurel Lake. Temps, clarity, etc... I am fishing there saturday for bass and have not been on the lake in 3 years.

Water temp was 59 this past Saturday.Water was clear towards the dam. Still stained in the river section but with the rain coming it will go to muddy by Saturday. BFL tourney on that lake Saturday so be careful. She has had a lot of pressure on her for about two staight weeks. Just fished a 120+ boat tourny down there Saturday. 15 lbs took top prize which to me was a disappointment. It should have taken at least 20 but the fishing has been real tough. Smallies should really start getting active and the largeheads are going into spawning mode. If your not fishing the BFL you might want to pick another lake for this weekend or at least try the night bite which should really be coming into its own. Hope this helps.

I am in the BFL tourney - non boater. Cant get down on Friday to fish so I just wanted to know what the water looked like and some temps. Thanks for the info. Now I just have to see how the draw goes.
