    Question about the cumberland river???

Me and the family are looking to come the river the 2nd weekend in May. Looking to fish for stripers in the river below the dam. Either in KT or TN. How is the work on the dam going to effect the striper run?? Is there enough water in the river? Is it pulled down to much??

What would be the best area to fish when we come? Just loooking to have a good time. Please any info would be greatly appricated.. My email address

Re: Question about the cumberland river???

I live here by the river and watch it dont fish it much but you wont have a problem with low water just the oposite, any water that runs in to the cumberland lake has to be let out as early as possible, therefore any rains above us means higher swifter water in the river,

for tips on location on the strippers give chuck strange a call, i see the guides go both ways up the river from burkesville visit the cumberland county web site www.cumberlandcounty.com, go to the river site, lots of info there
