i usally always peg mine, then i slip the sinker up the line about 2 inches to let the bait set free and move more.when flippin i put it right on the bait.
So what do you use to peg your weights?? do you use the rubber pegs or toothpicks? or is there some other way? I ask because with these weights i bought you dont have to use any thing to peg your weight to bait, but they are no good if you want to peg it up your line.
I absolutely love the bullet weights that screw into the nose of your bait! They even make them with a rattle to give you a little more noise. I got hooked on using them three years ago and have always used them since. So what do you use to peg your weights?? do you use the rubber pegs or toothpicks? or is there some other way? I really like the rubber peg-it's when using tubes or any bait that has the hollow body. I like the screw in type for solid nosed plastics.![]()
Gambler Baits make a neat self pegging sinker that works real well... Dan
nothing cheaper than a box of toothpicks, just be sure you get the round ones.
Try using the rubber slip bobber stops. They work real well you can even adjust by using two of them one above and one below.
I am a cheapy I use toothpicks like the other guys mainly for flippin especially if in bush's with alot of limbs. I dont care for those little pieces of wire rubbing on my line especially the knot.
Check out the Parasite Weights at www.fishinfanatic.com. These are what I bought and tried them out the other day. Gotta say that I think they are a good deal. Anybody else used these before?
Round Toothpick also!!
