    Just asking........
I use braid 30# or 50# for the main line, tie the swivel on with palamar, tie f-carbon leader on with improver clinch knot. I make up leader ahead of time the imp-clinch knot work better for me.

    Re: Carolina Rig ?

    Marvin,
I know what i like and most of my C-rigging buddies use pretty much the same rig or close too it. We use 7-7/12 med hvy to hvy action, 1/2oz to 1 1/2oz lead, 17-20lb mono or 30 # plus braid, 18-24 inch leader with f-carbon (10-20lb) depending on the bite.
My rig right now is 30#braid 1/2oz lead, glass bead, carolina keeper and about a 2ft 12# f-carbon leader.
I know of a great place to C-rig this summer, you would love it. It's a pipline that has 7ft of water on one side and 12-13ft on the other with the pipeline coming up into 5ft of water. We should hit it one day.

    Re: Carolina Rig ?

I like a 7.5 Falcon Cara rod with 30lb braid and 10lb mono leader. I like the 3/4 egg sinkers and red 8mm glass beads that I buy in the craft section at Wal-Mart. Ryan.
