Trim Question

Hey Guys, Need some help

Been on the lake all day today with no problems. I have a 2000 Johnson 115hp, when I got home I noticed the motor had trimmed it's self all the way up. Without thinking I pushed the manual on the motor and it went down. An hour later I re-check the motor only to find that it had raised it's self again. Only this time it will not go down, I have checked it at all three locations. Any suggestions????

My guess is you have a sticking relay, or water has gotten into your trim switch. You can check the relay's by switching them around and see if the motor trims down. If it does not then I would check my bow switch, thats
the one that seems to get the water in it, causing a short and trimming the motor by itself. But I would check the relays first..Good luck.
