Cumberland Walleye & Ramps Open & Burnside

I am wanting to put in around Beaver Creek or Otter Creek and am not sure what boat ramps are open in that area. I am wanting to give the Walleye and Striper a try during the night. Also, has anyone had any luck with Striper and Walleye down toward Burnside? That would be a lot easier for me to access, but I am thinking that I will need to get up closer to the dam.

    Thanks

Put in at Halcombs Landing at the dam. Just be out of the parking by 3:00 pm on weekdays or they might tow you out. Weekends are fine just be careful where you park as some mental giants down there will block you in without consideration. The ramp is fine just go slow and stay on the ramp and it's all good.

Why do they tow after 3:00 at Halcombs? Sorry to ask, but I am not familiar with that spot.

    Thanks

They say blasting, The parking thing is a real pain. The ramp is usable but they should have left more parking. And he is not kidding about people blocking you in. I've seen trucks parked 3 deep.

Are there any other nearby ramps that are usable to access this area of the lake? Is Alligator open, or is it another victim of the draw down? What about any docks up in Beaver Creek? The last thing that I want is to get boxed in at the ramp there at Halcombs!

    Thanks

Jamestown is open but you have to drop your trailer on top of the hill and park elsewhere. I belive Grider is saying they are open and at Beaver Creek I saw some guys launch a jon type boat from a trailer with a 4 X 4 but there is not really a ramp there yet.

Grider is open, there may be a problem with trailer parking though, you may need to drop your trailer and park down by the ramp. seems our hoosier and ohio visitors, cant find the energy to drop their trailers when they are more than a one day visit, maybe they cant find their way back to the trailer. There is a five buck launch fee, and stay to the left on the ramp, slight drop off on the right.
