    Burnside Area Striper and Walleye

OK, after looking at the reports and reviewing all of the closed ramps, I think that I will put in at Burnside tonight and try that side of the lake. Hos anyone had much success fishing that end of the lake for Striper, Walleye, or Smallmouth? I am thinking of running up to Fishing Creek and trying to start working from the mouth up. Any help will be greatly appreciated, and thanks.

Smile Re: Burnside Area Striper and Walleye

I have done real well up the Southfork this time of the year, especially with Walleyes. Go up above Woodsend Bend and start where the bluff wall ends on the left side going up. Start there and fish all the way back to burnside Island. I have done the best on the smaller jonted redfins. I seem get more hookups on the walleye because of the size. I am going to Fall Creek tonight.Post how you do and I will do the same.
