Fished a tournament last sunday, stayed down by Wax and in the river, caught plenty of fish, not much quality. Talked to some others who caught some bigger ones, said they fished the other end of the lake before coming down by wax. They caught all their big ones down by moutardier. Hope this helps!! Oh, and didnt see any fish spawning or any signs of it on any of the fish weighed in.

Fished a tournament there last Saturday and caught all our fish back in Dog Creek around the flooded timbers. Caught a couple on a Tennessee Shad Rattle Trap, but mostly caught them a Tequilla sunrise worm 7inch. Just throw anywhere in the timbers and you should catch some fish. Biggest fish was 5lbs. Hope this does some good.

My second home is dog creek...hmmmm

Dad used to let me fish in the bass tracker alone when I turned 11, but I couldnt fire up the big motor or go out of Dog creek.

Did you see any bedded bass skoal?

3 of my buddys limit had raw tails and were layed out,i saw few in the weigh in bags that had worn red tails..his came from dog too.I fished it not as far back tons of little ones no big ones.

EJHIck....no i didnt see any bedded bass. The water there was still aroun 8-10ft. deep.

Just got back fron Nolin. Caught 40-50 fish Sat. morning through that afternoon. Our best 5 went around 15 lbs, with the kicker being 5. The old man wooped me this time, he may have caught half the numbers I caught but he caught the two biggest the 5 and one close to 4.

We caught about 30 in an hour off one drop. They were sitting in 12-15ft of water and you had to drag it SLOW. They were stacked in here. Everytime we had one on bringing it to the boat, a bunch of others were trailing it. Most of them were 13-17 inches. But I caught 6 fish on 6 casts, that hasnt happened for a while for me. Cathin'em on jigs, c-rig, and drop shot. Water color was good where we were (2 ft vis), elsewhere was too clear for me. Caught the rest of our fish that morning on top, nothing big though.
Nonetheless, I had a great time with pops this weekend, he showed me a thing or two this time.
