Cumberland Saturday Night

Hit Cumberland Saturday night from 10:30 to 3:30. The shad came up right at 12:00. However, at least around Faubush that was all that came up. Did anyone have any luck on the Walleye or Striper Saturday? At about 2:30, a LOT of people started taking out at Cumberland Point and CB, so I am guessing that it may have been a pretty slow night overall.

Now if I can just find the energy to get down there later this week!

buddy and i fished saturday night out of jamestown. we got on the water around midnight, and there seemed to be a lot of shad. Heard a few blow ups on deep banks. Caught 2 short stripers, missed a big one a the boat, and had a few other hits that i missed. I through a sliver all night, and buddy through redfin. He only had one hit. We fished till sunrise. Overall, not a good night for us.

I agree, the shad were everythere. We heard two or three blow ups around 1:30 to 2:00, but that was it. I will probably try and get back down on Wednesday night. As of yet, I have not had a big night of fishing on Cumberland but have only gotten down there three times this year. Hopefully it will turn back on this week. I am sure that the shad will be done in a couple of weeks . (?)
