Hello all,
Taking the family on vacation and staying on Lake Douglas in Tennessee. We will be there the 2nd week of June. I have never fished that lake before and welcome any suggestions. Thanks.
Bobby

Down by the dam is Flat Creek. There is like a peninsula formed on one side by Flat Creek and the other side by the French Broad River. Know where you are running as there is shallow water in the middle of the lake. The blue back/chartreuse #200 Bandit crank bait is probably the best lure to throw. Find some brush sticking out of the water near deeper water and throw a prop surface bait, i.e., Devil's Horse close to the brush. Great ramp at the dam and coming in from Sieverville you will pass the bait shop mentioned above.
Really appreaciate the info. I normally fish Kentucky and Barkley but I always get excited prior to fishing a new lake for the first time. We will be staying on the lake for 7 days so hopefully I will be able to work out a pattern.
Bobby
