    looking for scales

    Hey Guys, I Am Looking For A Set Of Weighing Scales. The Kind Like You Can Set A Basket On. Not The Type Like You Get At Wal Mart. The Flat Kind . Need Some Suggestions Please.

    Run a search for balances/scales. There are a huge variety of what you are looking for available typically for use in industry and laboratory environments.

    include in your search postal scales.Y ou want a set with the tare feature that lets you put your basket on then zero the scales with it there.

    If you are in the Lexington area, there are several scale retailers in the book. Most all carry the flat tarable units. They are a little more expensive but well worth it. I can't remember who our club purchased ours from, but we have had it for several years with no problems.

    i am not sure how much scales run but i was on staples web site andsaw they had some digital scales that max out at 150lbs and they were $80. not sure if they are tarable but they have some.

    i would go with ebay just looked at those and they are alot cheaper.
