Ramp Updates?

Any Updates? Do you still have to be gone from Halcomb's during the weekday afternoons. I was thinking of trying Fall Creek is it usable for launching and can you camp?

Anybody know anything about the pumpkin creek ramp? Last I heard it would be open in the middle of May...well its May 17?

I can give a update on the Halcombs Ramp. Yes you need the be gone buy the afternoon. I am thinking 2 or 3 oclock and yes parking is very limited and people will block you in.

I have two brother in laws that work for the company that is pouring the new ramp at the dam. I asked one of them how it was going the other day and he said it would be at least another month before they would be done pouring concret. If my memory is correct the new ramp is going to be 4 lanes wide and extend down into the water. When they get the ramp down to the water they are going to pour two sections then slide them into the water making the ramp useable a the current pool elevation.

Called Lure Lodge Thurs. nite May 17th., they said that construction was complete but needed time to cure, should be ready around Wed.
