I caught fish in the past skipping a weightless fluke under and around the boat docks and also using a White Rat fished over the moss and grass. Good Luck

Finally have a weekend where nothing else is on the schedule!!
Going to spend the weekend at Beaver Lake in our new Scanoe with new trolling motor, trollin' around and hopefully reelin' 'em in.
I usually just fish the bank cause thats all I have time to do, but since I can get out there on the water this weekend I am really looking forward to it.
Any tips on fishing for bass? There's alot of grass where our cabin is and all around I think...Wanting to try a lipless crankbait, never fished one before there. What else do you guys recommend? Would say the water will be fairly clear. Forecast 74 tomorrow and 79 Sunday 0% rain chance.
We'll also have the kids and be fishing for anything and everything.,,just having fun...so we'll probably use the popeyes with wax worms for them to get some good panfish, and hope to reel in a couple of big catfish for them too with some livers unless you all have some other things for us to tryHave a great weekend everybody!!!

Fished last weekend there and tore them up. We fished the grass with topwater frogs and pitched tubes and lizards in the grass. The edges of the grass were good as well. Good luck and let us know how you do.![]()
horny toads will catch lots of bass. they may not be big bass but you should make up for it in numbers.
