Driving down Friday night to fish Ky Lake for the first time at night. Plan on leaving Evansville IN area some time around 5:30pm to launch out of Sugar Bay and fish all night and some early in the morning as well then drive back. Back seat open for anyone interested in partaking. It will be my first trip night fishing this year but I would bet my night milk run will still produce some Smallies. Can't wait for that first one to try and pull the rod out of my hand on the drop spinnerbait. Let me know by private message and leave me your number and I will call you Friday to set up place to pick you up. I am going with or without a partner and will not ask for any gas money for the boat or Explorer because I would be spending it anyways. Later

I check the forecast for Paducah area and it is not supposed to get above 70 all day long and a low of 45!!!!!!! BRRRRRRRR - keep them coming with a few more Alberta Clippers and I will take my FNF rod with me next time. I see a little winter clothing gear in my future tonight. Tuesday on Barkley I burn up, get sunburned and wear shorts and short sleeve shirt putting on sun screen, Wednesday it is shorts and short sleeve shirt with rain suit over top and I am chilly all day, Friday night it is a couple of layers with longs sleeves and a toboggon, gotta love this KY weather. At least the wind is not suppose to blow at all after sundown tonight and I hope I can keep the ice our of my rod eyes. LOL I think I will start out with a 10 foot leader of 6lb flouro, 1/16" oz Duck Feather with Chartreuse jig, a little Garlic Flavored Fish Dope on the jig head......for a second I thought it was winter at Dale Hollow.
haha man i know how it is,i went down for spring break and the first 2 days was great weather, shorts short sleaves etc. the next 2 days we were in coveralls and bibs with about 3 layers..cant help but love the ky weather
