I have one from Walmart that i use in my cooler/livewell for my Pondhopper Bass Tournaments. The thing has been working fine for years now. Not sure if it's too big for your application. Good Luck

I have a duckboat that I am converting into a part time fishing machine and would like to add a cooler in front of my side console with an aerator to keep bait alive for extended periods. Does anyone have any sugg. for the best 12v. system to put in the cooler?? Probably about 10 -15 gal or so.
thanks
Bill

Might sound silly but I had a cooler Livewell set up using the D-Cell Battery type Arerator from Wally World that worked just fine and even kept a limit of 5 fish alive for about 6 hours in a tournament once...... Had a drain hole drilled and capped thru the bottom of the John boat and an actual tube run out the side of the boat to fill the Livewell up with...Just make sure you use some silicone sealer around the connections and a fine livewell for your boat.....
I have been using power bubbles 12 volt for years for similiar application.
Not the battery type but you clip to trollong motor battery. It can run for a couple days. Hardly draws any current.
