Cumberland Night Fishing

I did not make it down to Cumberland to night fish this weekend despite plans to do so. You know that they say about the best laid plans of mice and men....


Anyway, I have not seen any reports for the walleye and the striper over the past weekend. Did anyone make it out and care to report how they did?

Went Sat. night, didn't get a single stripe. Was still better than a good day at work!!!!

I took my neighbor Sat. night. We put in at Ramsey Point and fished the bank across the lake from the ramp. 5 short stripers (22 to 231/2) 2 keepers, one 28" and one 31", one walleye 21" and one Big catfish. Walleye, catfish and 2 short stripers caught on redfin, all the others caught on sliver. Shad came up first around 12 then up and down till 4:30am when we pulled out. The striper bite picked up around 3:30 and we had 2 keepers and 2 short fish by 4am. My neighbor is officially hooked on striper fishing. Can't wait till next weekend!!!
