Guys, I dont think it will ever get any better, it will only get worse. The USA depends on foriegn oil suppliers to make our gas and lets face it , they dont like us very much right now. boycotting gas doesnt hurt them as much as people think it does after months of record breaking profits they are filthy rich and living the good life. unless we come up with a alternitive fuel or stop depending on foreign oil suppliers it wont get any better. im waiting on mercury or yamaha to make a hybrid before i get a bigger boat, lol.
All I ask is that you catch one about 18" and that's payment enough or fall in and let me take a picture...LOL!!!!!
Billy
Dude take a poll, I'm willing to bet the bank not ONE member on this site financed their boat for 15 years, LOL. Mine has been paid for a long time, and I payed mine off in three years, just in case your interested. BTW, this thread was meant as light hearted humor, that's all, hopefully it can stay that way.
Well Billy I don't know if I can beat hall's fall but if it gets me in the creek with some of them good ol brownfish I'll take a dive just to foot the bill. I can bellyflop with the best of them. LOL
dc the funny thing about that story was, I was retieving a bait I had snagged on some wood when my leg went down in that hole. So while I was already down there I got the bait back and later in the big pool I caught an 18 1/4 inch brownie on that very lure. It was worth getting wet for, heck I was already wet anyway. All joking aside Billy is a fine host and he gave me first shot down the creek all day, he insisted. He and Andrew are fine fellows and I had a blast that day. Met two new friends and caught a bunch of fish to boot, now that's always a good day ain't it??
I must agree hall. Heck some of my best memories I have were wading the creeks catching redeyes and brownfish. Be honest with you I don't know why a man gives it up to go to the lake. I had more fun, caught more fish and just really enjoyed giving each other a hard time. Some of us ol boys on here are going to have to get together and take a trip to the creek before the summer gets away. We can at least give Billy a few more laughs to photograph.
Most who buy new ones make the banks very happy. At least I don't know anyone that's bought a new bass boat without financing. You'd be surprised the amount of people who owns expensive rigs, who are treading water, trying to stay afloat in debt. Myself, though, I would only buy a one payment boat.Dude take a poll, I'm willing to bet the bank not ONE member on this site financed their boat for 15 years, LOL. I'll take you guys up on the Wade Fishing for them Goggle Eyes and Brownies....Haven't done that type of fishing but one time since I left indiana. I used to fish Blue River at least 2 to 3 times a week, love fishing with a tiny wee Rebel Crawdad Crankbait......
*** Also for the question on who actually did not finance their boat when they bought it.....I didn't I wrote out a check and paid for mine the day I picked it up......No interest payments for me to give the bank......***
P.S. I'm not bragging about it either, just answering the question from an earlier Post in this Thread.
Thanks
Not bragging either but to answer the question I paid for my boat in cash. If gas goes up any more I will put it up for sale. I LOVE to fish as much as anyone but I just can't see paying that kind of money. It is nuts. Ryan
Paid cash for mine also.....sell it?.....No.......Add rowing brackets and oars....Maybe.
Paid cash for my little runabout, too, and I'm thinking Elmer Davis may become my favorite lake. It's close, and I can leave my outboard at home. Mount a trolling motor on the transom, and between the two I can hit pretty much the whole lake.
