Barren River water level?

I wouldn't say REAL good, the big fish have been eluding most for the last couple weeks but the structure bite is about to set up so if you like it offshore give it two more weeks and it will be right.

It's updated daily. As of today, Barren is 8.2 feet below summer pool.

Fished a Club tournament there 2 weeks ago and the lake was at least 12 feet below summer pool...All the brush piles were out of the water and visible.....Fish were being caught on off shore structure on brushhogs and shakey heads...I caught my fish on crankbaits and lost one at least over 4lb. on a buzzbait at the boat.......

It is still low, but starting to come up little by little. A lot of grass on the flats. I fished a tourney there two weeks ago, had 10.58, all on crankbaits, and shakey heads. It should be turning on soon.The fish are there and hungry if you know where to look. Be careful running and I guess the cut at the Narrows is still unpassable and watch the stumps when the lake is low it can play havoc with lower units.

Thanks Buzzking, I hate to have to go around the island, especally with gas the way it is. I would put in at the Narrows more if they would provide a chairlift to the parking lot, and not have to worry about the gap.LOL LOL

im pretty sure the narrows gap still isnt passable. was down there the last 2 days and looked to me that the water is still a foot low from the gap. I didnt even bother trying to see but it should be getting close

when I say that there is 2.4 ft of water in there that reading is from my lowrance as I passed through there. I was fishing behind the marina and watched someone head that way and thought, haha, watch this, he can't get through....well....monkey see, monkey do.
