    Cedar Creek

Got down to lake around 9:00am, fished till 4:30 or so. The water was 77 in the am and pretty clear. I guess, I don`t get to fish it very often. Had a good day. I came within a 1/4 inch of having my first keeper, what a hog. Sprintfisher had its twin on, but it managed to throw hook while in the air, what a sight. we boated around 12-15. I need to fish that lake more than once or twice a year, i can see why people get hooked on fishin it only. Just to far of a drive for me. Happy huntin all....Brian

I went yesterday and between 3 people in the boat we caught 39 bass. Most were 12-14 inches. The biggest was 3lbs. This is the first time I have ever been there. I talked to a few other guys there and they said there have not been a lot of big fish caught. How do you pinpoint them with all the trees.

I usually find them in 6-8' back up in creeks early or on flats. As the sun comes up, they are suspended in '12-20 at the edges of treelines. There's alot of structure underwater to crank, the old railroad and hwy are hotspots. Problem is, jerkoffs will come up and cut you off on that lake worse than Ive seen anywhere. I guess its just too small, these guys will run you right off a bank if they can.
