Here is the latest on the River
Fishing over the past couple of weeks had been a little slow but things are starting to pick up again. Some fish are still spawning, some are guarding fry, and some our in post spawn patterns. We have not had any rain to speak of over the past few weeks so the river is clearing up nicely. That was until Memorial day traffic kicked it all up. Things should settle down though after Monday. I spent the majority of my time in the Louisville pool jumping in and out of most of your creeks. However some fish are starting to bite out on the main river on top water and small cranbaits around the mouths of creeks and marinas, especially if riprap is present. Small jigs and soft plastics seem to still be working well around cover in the creeks. Sometimes making multiple cast to the same target is what you will need to to do to get one to bite. Lures of choice were:

100 and 200 bandit crankbaits
baby paca craws
4" senko's
small flukes
trickworms
1/8 to 1/4oz Jigs
Shaky head worms
Good Fishing
