WHAS Channel 11 in Louisville interviewed Jim Dicken for a news story on Lake Cumberland. The show will air tonite at 5PM on Channel 11. (That is what we were told)
Jim Talks about the lake being open, ramps being open and the affect the Media Hype has had on the economics of the Lake Cumberland area.

Good show, Jim, Good show!! The only problem is, they should have had you on a couple of weeks ago and then maybe some of the people that went to Taylorsville would have gone to Cumberland. Better late than never, maybe it will help for the rest of the season.

Well I only started to get worried when people started talking about being there this weekend and not having any of the normal traffic.. Then when I saw the 76 Falls post I got really worried.. so I started making phone calls.. I am glad you got a positive spin towards Cumberland from the story. I thought it was a little weak.. to a point.. could have been stronger on the Lake is in good shape department. We have talked about it on the Strader Show for 3 weeks and I THOUGHT that would help some but apparently not.
