    Question Fluorescent Fishing Line

Just wondering what all fluorescent lines people use at night, I have been using suffix but wanted to see what all options there were.
Are there any fluorocarbon lines that are fluorescent?

I use the BPS Excel. Never had any problem with it and you can buy a big spool ( 1200 yards) for about 8 bucks. Just watch where you buy it. If the place you get it at sells a lot then more than likely the line is fresh and in good shape . On the otherhand if they don't sell alot then the line may be old and not very dependable.

    Re: Fluorescent Fishing Line

I have used the excel once. Maybe I got a bad spool or something, but the memory was way too bad for me. Now I mostly use the Spiderwire super mono EZ in the cl/blue flourescent and am pretty happy with it. Tough and fairly inexpensive. Man I wish they would still make that berkely Tri-max in the photochromic color, that stuff was the cat's meow and under a black lite 10lb test looked like a barge rope.

I too like the Berkley Photochromic. Last I found, was listed in the Berkley Big Game brand. It changes name under the Berkley logo, but seems to be the same line in my opinion.

I use Red Devil by Hi-seas line. It becomes very supple in the water and shows up like rope under a black light. It is also very resistant to nicks.

Just so happens, I was about to ask the same question! I have found several good lines, but, seems when I find one that I like, the memory is terrible. I would like to find a really good (strong, low stretch) fluorescent line with really low memory. I will take any and all suggestions.

    Thanks for any help

    Re: Fluorescent Fishing Line

I really like the Trilene XL line in clear/blue flrscnt. It too shows up well under a black light. I like the mangeability of this line. Very low memory and have had very few breaks with it. Probably my fault for not checking for abrasion frequently enough. Lays evenly on the spool and casts like a dream. If they make the Trilene Max in a fluorescent I will probably try it. It is supposed to be the best of both worlds. Low memory and long casting like the XL and abrasion resistant like the XT. If anybody sees the MAx in blue/fluorescent, please let me know.

I use P line cxx and Gamma copolymer they are a little more expensive but in my opinion well worth it. these lines are the strongest that i have found but they are a little stiffer than mono.

    Re: Fluorescent Fishing Line

Supersprint, are you referring to the hybrid lines like yo-zuri? Gamma and all other co-polymers are just multiple strands of mono fused together from what I've been told.
