    Re: Etiquette or NOT?

Whomever has the hole first gets it. If he wants to keep fish, that's up to him as long as he's not breaking any laws.

It really is as simple as that.

I had a guy try to jump on my spot while I was in a tournament on Barkley. I was C-rigging a hump, and he came right in on me. I told him that I was there first, and he got smart. I asked if he was in a tournament, he said he wasn't ( I was going to file a complaint). He asked if I was, and I said yes. He then started to tell me how tournament fishermen think they own the water, etc. I said that didn't matter in this situation, because I was there first. It didn't matter if I was in a tournament or not, I had the spot.

He swung around again to come in on my spot, and I lobbed my C-rig at his boat, and hit it in the side. That 1 1/2 oz egg sinker made a really pretty CCCRRAAAACCCCKKKK sound when it hit his boat. He started cussing and giving me the finger, but then he left. I guess getting c-rigs lobbed at his boat wasn't worth it to him. LOL
