I have not had much success with the fluorcarbon. I have had many breakoffs. I can't remember which show I watched the other day, but it was talking about different lines. Fluorocarbon does not fair well with a lot of abrasion or strong hook sets. Maybe for a spinnerbait or crankbait or possibly trolling would be fine where there would only be stretch. Fishing a worm or jig is not recomended with this line. It also depends on the water clarity you are fishing. Clear deep lakes the line would fair better, but murky conditions I believe line does not play as much of a problem. The best line I have found as far as duarbility and strength is P-line. I have been using it for several years and will not use anything else.
