That is the closest way but i would go to 65 south to smiths grove and take 101 all the way as it turns into 259 "THE EDMONSON COUNTY AUTOBON" much faster

I have a question. I store my boat down at Barren, the Narrows area to be more precise. A buddy from work has a place on Nolin and I was wondering what's the best route to take from Barren to Nolin (Moutardier). I looked it up on Google maps, and it looks like I can take 31E from the Narrows to the Cumberland Pkwy towards 65. From there, 65 North to Park City. Take 255 at Park City until it turns into 70. Take 70 through Brownsville and hop on 259 North until I get to Moutardier. Is this the best way? I'll be pulling my boat and want to avoid the 1 1/2 lane roads... LOL

Thanks for the info, that does look like a more direct route. Looks to be an hour or so drive, is that about right?
Don't know about that route your going. But it's about 45 minutes to the Moutardier Ramp area from the Exit from I65 South at the Paducah Exit. The longest 29 miles down the Bluegrass Parkway I ever did drive and then another 15 miles or so to the Ramp area at exit 107.
you shouldn't be on the bluegrass parkway down there, as it ends in etown,no wonder it's a long 29 miles...it is about an hour or so.
Got-em mixed up...it's the other 4 lane going west to Paducah.......![]()
still a long ride either way no matter how fast you drive aint it..![]()
Wish it was just under 30 miles from Louisville, I be really happy to have that Lake in my back yard for sure.......But I just love it when I'm driving down the HWY. and I finally see the Big "Y" in the Interstate as exit 107 comes up....Know what I mean? Means the lake is only about 15 to 20 minutes away............![]()
those flashing lights on the cell pole are like coming up on a water puddle in the desert.
I am not for sure about the time but I have traveled this way several times. If you leave the narrows just get on 31 E and go thru Glasgow straight ahead to Hardyville . Turn left onto 88 and go to Munfordville . Turn left in town and follow the signs to Nolin....
