The guide reports are saying the stripers are on the main lake and deeper now during the day. That would suggest to me that night bite is over or winding down but I don't have any direct information on the night bite.

I was hoping the night bite at C-land would be in full swing, but the reports I have been hearing from two weeks ago were hit or miss. Has anyone been out lately and are things starting to pick up?

Well we spent the night on Cumberland this past weekend and didn't catch hardly anything. We had lights out to attract the bait and still didn't catch anything. Ended up fishing the next morning and didn't catch anything then either. Hope someone else can give you some more encouraging news.
I went last night. Fished mid lake. Shad finally came up at 130. Bite was on in the coves off main lake from 130-330. I got 2 short stripes in and lost 5 others. They felt like either small stripes or possibly walleye. All on redfins within 8 ft of the bank.
I have a buddy camped at conley bottom this week. He has only caught one short striper all week. He said he has not even been hearing them at night. I am heading over tomorrow to try some trolling. I believe the fish have went down for the summer. I think we are going to also try snagging some shad under lights at night and see how that goes.
