Creek Report...Thurs Evening

Not a lot happening on the streamflow gages as of 3:30am. Somw flows got a little bump, but they'll drain out in the next couple of days.
Went down over the hill last night after the rain and couldn't really visually see anything that let me believe the flow was affected.

Spotty...the rain was kind of spotty. Saw on the news lastnight where the airport in Lexington didn't record much, yet some areas in Jessamine County showed 1.25"....dude in Georgetown recorded less than 1/2", yet the East Side of Lexington got POUNDED. I figured that your creek would be coming up a touch, given that, but the sponge factor must be in full effect.

Went down over the hill last night. Made about 10 casts. Caught 2 small LM. Lots of activity. Could see a lot of small bass just swimming around. The water level maybe raised 1" but that's about it. Still clear....

Back over the hill again....First cast 12"LM...caught on an APB crank....caught a Bluegill toward the end.
Water flow had picked up some. It's amazing to see how long it takes for the water to drain from this flat watershed.
