they bit real well last sat. night.fished from 1030 til about 3 am and had 30+ fish with all but a few in the 16 to 18inch with a good 4lb catfish.by the looks of the renegade results i'd say daytime is a little tougher.

I did some bluegill fishing at Nolin this morning and was amazed at the number of keeper size bass that were next to the banks. The water is so clear you could see them 10 feet down. What also amazed me is there was not one thing in my tackle that they would bite. What's up? Is it the clear water that keeps them from hitting? Would a person do better at night? I'm talking 3-4 pounders swimming right next to the boat!!

Seems like all the Bass fishing right now is hit and miss with the best luck coming at night. I saw the same thing at Green back on the 26th of last month. Big 3 & 4 lb fish roaming the bank and wouldn't hit squat. Would run for deeper cover if a bait landed to close to them, even just sniffed a bait if you did get them to stop and look at what you had to offer them to eat.
