It happened right at my sons father-in-laws camp and he was the first one there. From my understanding the pontoon did not have lights on. He said the guy looked pretty bad.
update on condition from sister in law
Jeremy is in a room of his own now on the same floor he'd been in in the trauma unit with other patients. They've had him up and out of bed some. He's got a fracture in his lower back that is giving him some pain. I'm not sure if or when they'll work on that. They put 3 pins in 3 of the top vertebrae near the base of his neck. He won't have the plate installed on the back part of his head where it broke his skull for about another year. They'll want to monitor for possible infections. At first, they thought he'd been thrown from his boat, but that wasn't the case. So, maybe, that would mean it could be fixed sooner since he didn't get into all the bacteria in the lake water. His collarbone is broken where he impacted on his right side. It's pretty bruised. He's got fractures on his face near his ear. It's just going to take time before we'll know how affected he'll be personality wise and ability wise. He's still pretty much medicated and sluggish.
