Made my weekly fishing outing to my mid lake spot. Hit the water at 9 and got ran back to the dock at 930 by a downpour with lots o lightning. Back on the water at 11 and caught a 29" striper on the 5th cast! We ended up catching a few more stripes but all were real short. Caught 1 walleye also short. The LM had the shad pushed up againts a bluff wall and we put 5 in the boat the biggest being 4lb range. It was released. Best bite was between 1-3. Pulled walleye crawler rigs on the flats in the am and caught an 8lb channel. I'm still trying to figure out the daytime walleye trolling technique.
