Never Been to Rough

Hey guys...Recently got my first boat and want to take it to Rough soon and I've not been there in years, and never on my own boat. Was wondering if anyone could provide some info about the lake; how to fish it, when to fish it, how best to learn the lake, etc. I know NOTHING about the lake (except that we used to put in at Laurel branch when I was a kid), so any info would be much appreciated.

Also, if anyone has any good resources, online or otherwise, they would be willing to share I would be very thankful.

Haven't fished it but maybe 4 times in my life...But have had luck on crankbaits and jigs. I fish it like I would the Ohio River, since it is kinda like a a River System Lake anyway.

Be careful on Rough. There are several places that can get you hurt or killed if you don't pay attention. Islands, VERY long points that come way out into the water, etc.

Gotcha, and I would bet it's even worse right now with it being 2 feet below summer pool.
