if it is alum welding needing to be done,most tool and die shops can do it. usual rate is between 45-60 an hour but watch out,some have a 4 hr min charge. In the Clarkville area, I would call Precision tool and die over by the Volvo truck dealer. Also a shop called ERL in new albany on Charlestown rd, they weld ansd make pcs for barges so they know their stuff in welding. A very good Fab shop is Piccola Mfg in Shepherdsville. Great fab welders, make automotive racks and they have alum welders. I would call first because most shops are hit and miss busy right now. If slow, they would probabaly help you out very easy money for them for a few seconds work.

The only thing I am worried about is welding that close to the foam inside the boat. Worried about catching the boat on fire. Any suggestions ?

If your rivets are leaking I don't know about welding. I had a Tracker years ago that started leaking. The problem is the rivets have gotten loose and in doing so have enlarged the holes. I sent mine back to Bass Pro 3 or 4 times to get the rivets tightened up. It would be ok for a while then start leaking again. I guess you could weld each rivet to solve the problem but I don't know.
