    Sounds awesome, Jim.

I have patronized Crash's store every time I have gone to Cave Run to catch a muskie. I don't go often, maybe once a year, so I'm not a local or a perfered customer or anything, but Crash always treated me in that fashion every time I walked into his store. As far as I am concerned, he is a true class act. I had absoluetly no idea that he was ill, and now that I know he and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Jim, I just emailed my assistant and asked her to send a $100 gift certificate for them to auction at their fund raiser. Crash is a great guy and we at Plapp's wish him and his family a full and speedy recovery.

    Re: Help for a Fisherman / Fishin.com'er

I just hung up from Jim. I am donating a custom built rod to be built to the specs of the winner. I use Rogue and Lamiglass blanks and all Fuji components. The winner will have their choice of split-grip or standard grip (Handle) I will also turn al the cork myself with burl instead of regular ole cork. I don't build rods for a living, but I am a master craftsman. My rod's are usualy lighter and more sensitive than anything you can get off the rack.

I don't know Crash personaly, but his reputation is impeccable and I look forward to contributing. Jim, you have my phone number if you need anything else that wasn't in the e-mail.

    Sincerely, Ray Rigby

    Ray thanks a ton.
I have been impressed by the response from the Fishin.com family to this situation. Crash's first wife died of Cancer and Justin his son is of course shaken by this but fighting to help keep his dad in treatment. Your help and the response from the Fishin.com community is much appreciated.
NOW.. lets buy some of these items.. call me if you are interested..
