    I would recommend backing off of the bank more. The pressure may be heavy on a lake, but 9 times out of 10 people are fishing too close to the bank. I fished yesterday evening on Taylorsville for the first time since last year and hooked up on some really nice fish! I was backed off of the bank a lot further than anyone else that I saw...

    I throw a big ole Norman deep diving crank with a 1/4 sinker, carolina rigged. I have never got skunked with that setup.
