Need Help Guist Creek

Plan on making a trip in the morning to Guist to do some bass fishing. I have not been on the lake in over a year. I am taking my dad. Anyone have any reports. Thanks for the help. We will be there early in the morning.

Went out a couple weekends ago both sat and sun. Didnt get on the water before 8 either day, so Im no help with the top water bite.
The rest of the day both days was slow and Everyone I talked to was pretty much in the same boat....a few slots, nothing of any size.

Both fish I caught were on jigs in ~15 ft. of water. Had quite a few bites up shallow, but assume it was probably the rock bass, as I caught one of them as well.

Hope this helps. Im actually headed out tomorrow night with a friend for some night fishin on guist, any report on your day would also be appreciated.

Sorry haven't been to Guist Creek Lake in about 2 years myself. But I'd be throwing Buzz baits early and late. Then I'd be throwing a jig or finesse worm to get them to bite, maybe even try a crank bait. Good Luck

Fished it for the first time ever about two weeks ago one evening. Got skunked, now that's not the first time that this has happened but it had been a while. Water was a little stained and that was before we had some rain. Good Luck...
