I haven't had much luck on Green but would like to hit it tomarrow or thursday night can anyone give me some tips on it. Not looking for honey-holes but just a good starting point and what to look for and what usually works best for bass.
Thanks

Try throwing a big crank bait and Big Black Spinner bait in deep water near points around 25 feet deep. Try jigs as well as big 10" worms fished real slow on the bottom.... But at sometime during teh night the fish will move up somewhat to feed in shallow water and you might be able to get a few of them by trowing that spinner bait close to cover and near the bank. good Luck
Thanks Mills, if the boaters, skiers and drunks are off the lake around midnight I'm planning on giving it a try. I usually fish C'land of the night but I'd like to fish my closer lakes instead this summer.
Sorry Jeremy - due to the increased traffic from Cumberland, Fish and Wildlife have put restrictions on the lake. Residents of Casey County are not allowed on the water from Memorial Day through Easter. Good thing I moved![]()
On a serious note, use dark colored baby brush hogs, texas rigged, a worm rattle, and dip the tails in spike it chart. color.
I also highly recommend jigs and shakey heads.
You're still fishin with that Lance Brown character are you?
Let me know how you do, I fish there about once a week, but have recently transferred to Barren River Lake because much better fish are coming from Barren.
LOL pastor, we was on GRL sunday evening and you'd thought you was on the big C, so Cumberland is gonna be my #2 option.
As for mr. brown, the boy won;t get up and work, more less fish....
but I may give him a ring and see if he wants to co-fish.
I'll post back on either place I go.
Thanks for the tips.
