Come on now. I have fished in both and I fish mostly draw now a days. But you cannot make that blanket of a statement. Not all buddy tournaments are won by cheaters. Look at the pro tournaments that are all draw or have an observer, several have been caught cheating.
A cheater is a cheater, they will always find a way.

I agree with all comments, but I like the draw ones the best---personally, I think draw tournaments are a whole lot harder to cheat in.

What pro tournaments have had people caught cheating?
Other than this guy only one angler has ever been caught cheating in a B.A.S.S. tournament and that was a long time ago. Now there have been people who got their days catch disqualified for fishing in an off limits area, but that is usually an accident like what happened to Mike Ike a few years ago in the Classic.

Not that long ago an angler fishing FLW was caught cheating. He had fish in a box and the end of a dock. Had big fish two days in a row. Then last year in a BASS event on the Red River there was a guy who had tied fish to stumps, he would then run a crankbait past the stump hooking the line, the bait would then run down the line to the fish and hook up. The co-angler never saw anything wrong. The only thing the co-angler said if I remember was the guy would bit his line off and put the fish in the live well. Those are two of the ones that come to mind. IMO that is 2 too many.
