In-Fisherman has a good book on Walleye Fishing.
back trolling slowly on the bottom with live bait is good for catching walleyes. Add a small spinner and red beads to the rig to help attract attention to the bait.
Take along plenty of insect repellent. Them no see'em can really bite and so can the mosquitoes.
Some times of the year they are not so bad. I went up there right after I got out of school in early June and the no see'em were not out but the mosquitoes were. They invaded our car somehow and on the way home they ate us alive until we figured out what was going on. They got into the ventilation system and came out after we got into the car.
We have to stop the car and shoe them all out. LOL
Take along something to store your fish with and leave a little skin on each of the fillets to prove what kind of fish you are taking back across the boarder. If you don't they may take all your fish at the boarder crossing. You are only allowed to bring a certain amount of each fish back to the states
Don't forget to get a copy of your birth certificate or passport.
